I thought I'd check this show out even though this network is pretty much in the doghouse when it comes to stupid moves. Also there's the part where I love vampires along with slim pickings when it comes to TV viewing during the hellatus since soaps are the only things year round. I didn't bother check out the show before it but I did have it on a few minutes before this started and I have to say it looked just horrible. Oh yes ABC take off the good stuff and replace it with crap after all you can never have too much crap, reality shows and cops shows. Enough already!So I wasn't sure what to expect although I knew there were actually fangs which are always a plus on vampires. I guess even vampires like to work in the garden. Yes these vampires can go out in the daylight without bursting into flames. I'm not sure if that was suncreen with a UPF of a billion since it showed her putting what looked like lotion on but oops that pesky sunlight got in the way and burned her. While she was working in the gardens her daughter went after her skateboard which started moving towards the street. Does anyone else think someone was moving that skateboard? This led to Mom getting all upset after all there's a truck coming but the guy swerves and crashes into a sign or something. He looks familiar but from what I'm just not sure. Well he has blood since he must have smacked his head on the steering wheel or something so of course she invites him in. I wonder if she did it on purpose.Now the cat was already out of the bag about her being a vampire since she was shown with her fangs in the commercials so she got hungry when she was cleaning up the cut. This led to her killing him and draining him. Oh yes always make sure to put the stopper in the sink when collecting blood from someone followed by putting it in a wine bottle. Just sounds like a lot of work to me. Why not just take a snack and let him go? Her husband comes home early and catches her. He is not a happy vampire and seems to have better control of himself but this girl likes killing because the blood he's giving her just isn't cutting it without the kill.A new family moves in and Nick's the new Sheriff at least I think he's the Sheriff. Hey I'm lucky I know his name is Nick. So on his first day he gets suspicious of the Radcliffes. Well who could blame him really although he seems to have some secret involving something that happened in Chicago. I think that chick cop whose name I don't know has to know something and more than the other guy because she wanted to downplay the contractor never leaving the gated community. And the guy Nick replaced didn't retire to Mexico since he was killed by I'm guessing Clare but her husband made it look like it was wolves which he did to try to keep attention away from this latest guy that disappeared.There aren't just vampires since this seems to be a supernatural community although there are humans mixed in after all Claire and what's his name did adopt a little girl and this seems to be the one place where they can raise her since I"m thinking if they lived around a bunch of vampires someone would want to drain her after all little kid has to be very tasty. Anyhoo Nick's two kids go to school and the son whose name I can't think of likes this girl Andy but she's dating a werewolf and I'm thinking she has no clue about that. He's breaking some rule of the werewolves to not date outside of the furry set I think. It doesn't help that Andy seems to like the new guy which is pissing off the boyfriend but at least the other werewolf stopped him before he could kill the new guy. As for the lie detector that was such a stupid idea since no one is going to pay five bucks for that.There are witches too and a bitchy blonde too who seems to be the enemy of that one witch Peggy.  Since Claire's having urges she goes to Peggy for help but bitchy blonde Devon wants to help her instead. I think she's probably trouble while Peggy wants to help people. I wonder what was in that tea or whatever that Devon gave to Nick's wife what's her name. I'm thinking some claws might come out and hell actual ones but I'm thinking these two gals are just witches. So all in all it wasn't such a bad show so I'll watch it again after all there isn't much to watch.
