How to Make Raw Pizza?

Let's start with the pizza dough. First, gather all the ingredients needed:

  • 1 cup of sunflower seeds (should be soaked overnight)
  • ½ cup of buckwheat groats (should also be soaked overnight)
  • 1/3 cup of whole flax seed
  • 1 1/3 cups of water
  • ¼ cup of sesame seeds
  • 1 medium sized carrot
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • ¾ cup of flax meal
  • 1 celery stalk
  • 2 tablespoons of red onion, minced
  • ¾ teaspoon of sea salt
  • Pepper
  1. After you gathered and prepared all the ingredients, you can now process the oat groats in a food processor until smooth. Put sunflower seeds and continue to process it.
  2. Pour the mixture in a large mixing bowl. Place carrot, celery, onion, garlic, salt and pepper in the processor and process it altogether. Continue to process it until the ingredients are minced well.
  3. Transfer it to the mixing bowl. Place the whole flax and sesame seeds. Stir until well blended.
  4. Add the flax meal and water to the mixture and stir well.
  5. Prepare the dehydrator trays by lining it with teflex sheets. Spread some mixture on the dehydrator trays.
  6. Dehydrate it for a few hours, or until you can turn the dough upside down to another tray. Remove the teflex sheet.
  7. Dehydrate for 8 to 10 hours more or until the base is dry enough to hold together.
Pizza Sauce Recipe:
  • Blend 10 to 12 sundried tomatoes (should be soaked in warm water for several minutes)
  • 1 large tomato
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 celery stalk
  • 1 clove of garlic
  1. In a blender add ingredients until blended. You can also add fresh basil leaves as you wish. Remember to add the sundried tomatoes last.
  2. For the pizza toppings, you can add any pizza toppings as you want. On this recipe, I used Brazil Nut Cheese, fresh basil leaves, red peppers, marinated mushrooms, caramelized onions, and dressing. Enjoy eating this raw pizza recipe and explore more pizza toppings that you can add up.
