My daughter is 27 months old. I think she's almost ready for some serious potty training. Other kids at daycare are training, so she's trying to copy them, and sits on her potty chair a few times a day. So far she has only gone potty once. She also doesn't like to lay down and let me put on a diaper. She will use pull-ups though. Of course, they are more expensive than diapers.
I thought about buying the cloth training pants by Kushies but they are kind of expensive, and then what would I do with them after she was trained?
My other thought was maybe I could have her wear underwear underneath her pull-up. That way she would feel when she was wet, which she doesn't with the absorbent pullups on. Has anyone ever tried that? I'm concerned that maybe the pullup wouldn't absorb the wetness then and it would end up leaking all over.
