     My friends, when I  began blogging here, I thought it would be a fun way to possibly help a few folks, amuse myself, and have a good time putting odd and unusual news out there. I also vowed that I would put a common sense spin on all my work, and I quickly learned, from comments and emails I received that this was much appreciated. In my on again, off again writing, and many of you will know that the reasons are varied, most due to my health, I have had some wonderful amusing moments both reading your comments, and reading other’s posts. That sounds nice does it not?
     Folks, friends, this has now become serious. This has been for your amusement, and my amazement, but now, I have stepped back and waited and watched, and as I see things happening and speak to more and more people, the gloves are coming off. Our country is in trouble friends. Of this, I am positive I do not have to tell you. As I have said before, I have always tried to keep matters of politics out of this, but folks, when I look at the news now, and I see stories that are not news taking over stories which, a few short years ago, would have been front page, I see there is a true need. I am certain I may infuriate a few, and some will even hate what I say, but when you think about it, and after I put this new plan online, I think you will be surprised, when you think of it, and someone will one day say hey, wait a minute, this old boy is saying something.  Now I am not going to say it will be easy. It will most certainly be difficult at best. However, somehow, we must take this country into a common sense age. The type of common sense our fathers and grandfathers used to win past wars. The kind of common sense it took to become the greatest country in the world. Like I have said many times, I do not have all the answers, but friends, together, we have the ability inside of us to make the decisions, perform the work, and once again, make our nation the greatest on earth.
