I was recognized at the Lake County Board of County Commissioners Meeting April 11th as Lake County Employee of the Quarter. For taking life saving efforts for a patron who collapsed and needed CPR in the library. My head is still spinning from the honor, I received a standing ovation from the room including all of the commissioners. I love my job, Astor Library and all our fabulous patrons.
