Yesterday was a full day! We decided to take the day off and spend time together as a team. Sometimes you need to regroup, heal your heart and soul, let things go and start over with new energy. First we did a cacao ceremony and healing work with flowers, that allowed the team flow better, let go and opened our hearts to new things filled with love and joy. Then we went for to one of our favorite stalls because we needed all the energy we could get. Yesterday was Wendy’s shopping day for her Europe trip in 10 days. And we needed soooo many things. And so, Wendy, her mom and dad and her 6 aunties took over the shops in order to get her the best outfits for her summer in Europe. I can’t imagine how crazy was for Wendy having 8 people handling clothes, making her turn around and squat to see if the jeans fitted, screaming YOU LOOK GREAT! and waiting outside the fitting room chitchatting like chickens. The best reference I can get you is “My big fat Greek wedding” think about that but in Spanish. We also discovered that @claricols has a great mother instinct and helped Wendy chose the best items. Overall it was fun and exhausting shopping with a teenager. We totally forgot we used to be teens too 😋. Then the rain caught us on the way back home and we decided to stop for a beer and some snacks making this the best way to finish a beautiful and exhausting day. It’s important to take the time to be with each other, work is awesome and we love doing tours, but making time for our team, bonding and being there for each other is even more important. We all need days filled with flowers, aunties screams, and infinite love.
