Last weekend @disclosure came to Mexico City and they couldn’t perform because one of them got sick. He blamed the “bad ice” from a restaurant and i am here to debunk that myth. There’s not such a thing as bad ice at restaurants. México city has crazy high standards and regulations for the hospitality industry. Restaurants got their ice from a certified company that has amazing pure and super safe ice. Yes if you go to the street and have ice there, you’ll probably get sick, but at an restaurant that won’t happen. It’s important for me to talk about this things because it seems that some people still sees México as a place where there’s no law and restaurants will just grab random water and freeze it to make ice. We have and incredible sophisticated culinary industry where everything has been meticulously taken care of. When dining at a restaurant you won’t need to worry about bad ice or bad water. It’s safe to drink filtered water from a bar or a restaurant. On the other hand if you are visiting a street stall or just walking at more let’s say crazy areas just avoid the ice and have bottled water instead. Trust your instincts and your common sense. I’m so sorry you were sick friends from Disclosure. But if you were at reputable restaurants and bars with a license, it was not the ice ☺️
