I was fortunate enough to volunteer as a photographer for the Blue Shield of California annual Operation V.E.T event today. The event featured Colonel (retired) Gregory Gadson. He lost both legs in an IED attack in Iraq. Patricia King who came out as America's first openly transgender infantry soldier. And, Sarah Verardo whose husband was catastrophically wounded in Afghanistan in two separate IED attacks. A very motivational and emotional day.
