⚠️ LET THE WORLD KNOW WHAT'S HAPPENING IN NICARAGUA ⚠️ On Wednesday, April 18, a protest was organized in Managua against the reforms imposed on the social security law, a peaceful protest against reforms that affect all Nicaraguans. This protest was repressed in a way that was unprecedented. Elders were mostly those at the protest and all were injured badly. From then until today, there have been demonstrations throughout the country (Managua, Masaya, Leon, Carazo, Bluefields, Granada, Estelí, Matagalpa, Ocotal, Rivas, Chinandega, etc). The government through the Police, the Army, motorized mobs and young people have besieged, beaten and shot at those who demonstrate against them. So far they report AROUND 25 DEATHs and do not give up to stop the violence, although they mention that they want "dialogue". There are still teens and civilians reported missing #VivosSeLosLlevaron #VivosLosQueremos and robberies to the people who are organizing to give medical assistance. In addition to this, TV channels and independent radios have been censored. Thou the government said the police would stop at around 5pm on 22nd, right at 8pm the army started shooting at students at UPOLI university campus.
