For those who have not seen my Facebook post: Sadly, I've been absent from social media this past week due to the passing of my beloved big sister, Susan. For all my misspent youth, I never thought for a second that I would outlive my positive, clean-living, genius sibling. From my earliest memories to her final hour, she has been my greatest champion and my avid defender. Her generosity has never been limited. An aggressive form of leukemia claimed her last night. She was surrounded by family and got to say goodbye to most of us. The sudden onset of her disease reminds me once again that we should shower our neighbors, friends, and family with love while we can.
