They usually make you book two slots, put you on a waiting list or, they suddenly cancel, like what is happening to me in Siena, 3 tour guides for differen conveniently got sick the day before my tour. That’s one of the main reasons i made my company Solo traveler friendly. Is clear that i don’t make any money when I get a solo traveler on a tour that nobody else booked, but, I decided to do it a service for the community, so people who travel like me get to experience the city and the food without spending more money or changing their plans.
