They say if your mother is a Jew then you’re Jewish. Sounds like an easy way to make a decision about your identity huh? But per a recent report, Latinos are now checking the boxes that says they’re “white” and as far back into my childhood as I can remember I had friends that look like one of “them” (look like white people), but they were really one of “us” (Hey! Light-skinned, straight hair. But they were living a segregated black neighborhood! They must be Negroes. Ya think?!) Must say there was one person on the list that surprised me.
