Fuel prices to rise, a few ideas
Happy Sunday everyone! Sunday a great day to share praise, to be grateful, to share a smile, to have time for those close to you.
This Sunday is no different. This day we are on the verge of closing out another month.
Februrary 2011 another month for the history books. The middle east has showed us many historic events from Egypt and Libia that still has effects that will ripple in the area and even in our homes.
Gas prices are rising and in some parts of America are well over $4.00. We need to make our stand over the need for oil and start to design our future.
I work in sales in the automotive for a local Toyota/Scion dealership. Been doing this since 1997 and I do believe that gas will rise to levels we have not seen because of Libia and the middle east crisis. I do feel that many people will have to choose to do something different in order to stay ahead of rising fuel prices.
Here are some ideas:
Buy a more fuel effiecient hybrid or high MPG car.
Car Pool, look for people to share in the cost
Ride the bus, or subway more often
Plan your trips to the market
Stay home more
Smile more
Eat out less
Make larger meals and freeze them for later
Make less trips into traffic where the engine just idles
Stay postive and focus on solutions.
Complain less, promote joy more
Just a few thoughts and hopefully you can use atleast four. Maybe even push your thought process for more than that.
