I truly mean that, it snowed a nuisance amount inch or two and my daughter has a two hour delay.  Yes I miss spring, I miss that view from my hammock.  Oh yeah sure I am grateful for snow, and the beauty as it lays on the tall pine and spruce trees.  Without a doubt it has beauty, skiers and snow boarders have even more gratitude for snow I am quite sure.  Just miss the color of spring and the warmth that these colors bring.

My friends the violets and the daisies and the lilies they are coming.

Beneath the cold snow and just under the hard surface of the frozen ground they wait to push forward.

The Red Robins will be coming forth to hunt for food, awaiting that spring rain that causes the worm to rise and the fresh meal awaiting the hungry mouth of the baby bird high above.

They come, the season of spring comes, it may be right under your foot as you trod to your car or mail box but they come.
