Not Best First Impression
I for one am glad that Tony has wised up and asked Cindy for a divorce since I've never liked those two together. That star cake looked good but Cindy had to go and ruin it. Don't abuse the chocolate cake. I'm just not sure why he called it star cake. And when did Dom decide to join Team Cindy. He jumped to conclusions and assumed that Tony was starting things up again with Jacqui because he saw them talking. Dude it would be one thing if they were kissing and anyway the one he likes would be Gabby who I didn't call Olivia. Go me since I have the feeling I might slip up and call her that and wonder when Giles will show up. That of course won't make any actual sense unless you happen to be a Buffy fan.
Des gets a text from some Rose chick so I wondered who that ways. Jacqui ends up getting a little bit paranoid so she follows him and sees him with someone else. She ends up putting her foot in her mouth with a little name calling. She turns out to be Des's sister. Oh lovely she's just like her brother. I'm thinking he got it from her. She decides to try to make it up by inviting Rose over for tea and cake. Can I come? Come on admit it since I can't be the only one that wouldn't mind going over to the McQueen house. So she asks Tony for some goodies. I'm just not sure what scoons are. Do they actually exist? I know what scones are. She even gets a cake but when she cut it I would swear the cake farted. She claimed it was supposed to sink in and become a funnel cake. And oops she ends up spilling cake on Rose.
If things weren't already a little awkward Dom busts in and tells Jacqui to stay away from Tony. Um dude she could be friends with him if she wants to. Maybe he should take up a hobby so he doesn't end up making a fool of himself. He leaves after Jacqui reveals that Des is the man she loves. That scored some points with Rose and hey Myra broke out the pink fizz. Myra goes digging around in her cleavage for a picture of Tina to show Rose. The second I saw that look I was thinking oh no she's like her wretched little brother. She's pissed off at Des for not telling her that there was a black sister in the family. So I'm thinking he won't get their mother's ring.
I don't want Des marrying her since he's a horrible human being. I guess he really does love Jacqui if he's willing to overlook something like that but I think the only reason he can is because Tina's dead so he doesn't have to actually deal with her. I hope he doesn't pop the question but if he does she needs to say no. Imagine his reaction when he finds out that Theresa's pregnant with a black man's child. I bet he'd be absolutely horrified about that. The only horrifying thing about it would be Calvin sleeping with the underage cousin of his wife although they weren't actually married at the time.
Anita and Rae decide to give Darren a makeover. How lovely he looked but maybe he should get some tips from Kris. He has no idea that he's wearing makeup since they did it while he was asleep. Rae's off to stay with her Nan for a while since she's getting out of the hospital. Luckily it was just a minor stroke. So Darren opens the door to Rhys who sees his new look. Hey it did match his shirt. He's taking pictures of the place after all Nev is the landlord so I'm sure he'd love it if Rhys found something that Nev could use to toss him out since I'm pretty sure he can't be given the boot forsleeping with his wife. Rhys don't put all the blame on Darren since Suzanne was a willing party and Nev was the one neglecting her so it isn't the fault of just one person here.
Wow Cindy isn't showing interest in money. I'm stunned. She didn't seem to care when Tony offered to let her keep the clothing shop with the stupid name that I can't think of the spelling aside from it being totally wrong. So Darren offers to let her stay there along with Holly. Haven't seen her in a while and I wouldn't have minded if I wasn't seeing her now. Cindy didn't like the blue but when Darren went to the mirror he seemed to think he looked all right. It's good that Newt and Rae aren't around since that place is getting pretty crowded. I think there are just two rooms in the place although I suppose a third person could stay on the couch.
