MONEY-MAKER MEMO 2: 

Promote Your Pages

Times are tough, so it is more important than ever to promote yourself.    Do not be humble RedGagers- you are true artists, authors, and producers.  Own your work and be proud of yourself!  Here are a few ways to market yourself and your content:

*Make sure you let RedGage users know where they can purchase your work-
  Post an email address on your profile if you are interested in people contacting you.

*Make your content 'contagious'- 
Find creative ways to get RedGagers to interact with your content.  Comment, ask to collaborate, or come up with fun ways to get users to view your photos, blogs, videos, links, and documents.

*Organize your portfolios-
Use the collection function, on your profile, as a portfolio that will highlight your best content.  Think of your collections as ‘coffee-table albums’ and take some control over how other people can view your material.  This will allow you to put your series together in a way that people can understand the flow of your work.  Each category can potentially attract a different audience, resulting in more views.  You can get a better understanding of where your views are coming from by looking at your account statistics.

*Details, details, details-
Even if you feel like you are being obvious, include as many details as possible.  Make sure that you are adding accurate descriptions of your content and mentioning relevant topics through your tags .  If applicable, taking clear photos of your artwork and uploading the highest quality of your images will go a long way. 

*Share your work-
Use the ‘Share This ’ button to let your friends, family, or RedGagers (both within and outside of RedGage) about content that you would like them to view.
