Is the prosperity gospel satanic or Godly Business?

If you take a closer look, the witchdoctors make exactly the same announcements on the radios and newspapers just like the Pentecostal pastors. What changes are the names and the addresses, but the activities are the same which suggest a similar source of power. The announcement below by a famous witchdoctor in Uganda cannot be differentiated from the Pentecostal service announcements.

“Those who want to get married, to have children, get a visa, become rich and prosperous, those who want promotion at work or having difficulties at work, those having marriage difficulties, and all those with health problems, those who were cursed, who need favor and those who want to be victorious, Your problems have been solved, Mama Fina is the answer…”

There is almost no difference between the announcement of a witch doctor above and the ones made by Pentecostal pastors announcing their. You will discover that the greatest similarity between the words of the witch doctors and those of the Pentecostal pastors is that they are both “worldly promises” They are doing a business of someone so interested in the world which is totally different from the words Jesus handed down to the disciples.

My brother (in Christ) who once discussed with me the announcements made by Pentecostal pastors, amused me when he designed for himself the type of announcement the disciples of Jesus would have made, I later found out that his design was perfect, if you compare it biblically, He said:

“those who want to repent of their sins, those who want to accept Christ, those who have back slid in the faith, and those who want to go to heaven, all those who want to have communion with other believers, those who want to learn more about the death and resurrection of Jesus, we have a meeting tomorrow, so please come In person as we prepare for the second coming of our lord Jesus Christ”

It is with no doubt that words with heavenly promises where used by the disciples in the biblical (Col 3:1-3), It was never the earthly promises as it is today, there were no promises of fake healings, miracles and riches. If Paul was to preach today, I am sure he would not preach by calling people who want visas to his meeting, it’s obvious he would be interested in those who want to follow or learn more about Jesus than those who would follow him for riches.
