A solar iPhone charger is a great choice for individuals that are regularly outdoors or have easy access to sunlight (work desk beside a window, skylight, etc.) There are a variety of solar chargers in the market. The two most common ones are the USB solar charger, and the solar iPhone case charger. As one may have guess these two devices are similar aforementioned options with the only difference seen in the manner where power is collected which is the sun.

Many manufacturers have been producing a range of power banks. These devices are simply rechargeable units that your iPhone can in turn charge from when you are on the go. Power banks come in a large variety of styles, designs, and colors. There are many inexpensive ones available but it is wiser to select something from a reputable brand that is a bit more pricey. 
Regardless of the type of charging device you opt for, just make sure that you are selecting a quality brand. Though there are some that are cheaply priced, your may run the risk of damaging your iPhone from a poorly made charger. Invest in a quality piece that can power up your device when needed and hopefully boost your battery life in the process.
