I was playing around with my Sims 2 game about a week ago and found out you could make a clone of your sim.  It was actually quite hillarious. First, press ctrl shift c to bring up the cheat menu.  Next type in "moveobjects on".  Now go to buy mode and use the hand to grab your sim.  As you place your sim somewhere, press shift while clicking.  It will make another appear.  I did it and had the clone stand outside the house as a statue lol.
