Something exciting happened this week! As I was perusing the site feed at our favorite lounge, the RedGage Dashboard, I was drawn to a post by our friend Edith Molina. What I discovered was an invitation to become part of a new, and exponentially-growing, networking community. At this point, you may be wondering just where the excitement lies; afterall, the internet is teeming with sites like Facebook! Perhaps I should mention that this fresh-faced network, called Zurker, is owned by it`s members....that`s you, me, and the rest of the beautiful world! :) Every single user has the opportunity to earn vshares in the company simply by inviting friends! In addition, you may do as I`ve done and purchase additional vshares. The potential value of vshares grows as site membership increases :)

It gets better!

In my short time at Zurker I`ve come to recognize its potential as a means of boosting our RedGage income. At a time when Twitter is imposing posting restrictions on RedGage members, this is wonderful news! When you join Zurker, you`ll see that your profile contains a section called Finds. Many of you have already caught on, and are gleefully uploading links to your RG content :) What fewer members seem to be doing is making use of the link field in the Photos section. When uploading an image to Zurker, you are given the opportunity to include an Attribution (Source URL). While it may seem redundant to provide viewers with a link to an image already before their eyes, doing so will increase the chances that they will click over to RedGage to view your content. Would you like to know what I suspect would increases those odds? :)

Rather than posting exact copies, try uploading small scale versions of your RG images to your Zurker albums. Make them large enough so that they pique interest, yet just a little too small to fully enjoy without -you guessed it- clicking over to RedGage for larger copies! Imagine, if you will, that your Zurker collection is a thumbnail gallery intended to direct traffic to your RedGage content!

UPDATE: A number of Zurkers have crossed the bridge to RedGage by clicking the links I've placed beneath the RG thumbnails I've uploaded to Zurker. In addition, I'm happy to report that I've also received a lead on a custom project! Zurks Works! :)

I will continue to post my RedGage-related Zurker discoveries so that we might grow together in our success :)
