Dinagyang 2012
This is the tagline of the 2012 Iloilo Dinagyang Festival as indicated in the Project Action Plan for next year's celebration on the Diamond Jubilee Year of Iloilo City. The marketing phrase reflects the pursuit to bring the standards of festival management to the next level which does not solely aim for winning awards but to set a benchmark of excellence.

Dinagyang promises to continue its advocacy on environment protection and heritage conservation towards the City's vision of becoming a Premier City by 2015 -- vibrant, well-governed, and prosperous; as well as resilient and safe; ready to address disaster risks and climate change; and most of all making Iloilo City liveable.
It shall pursue noble objectives which shall not be limited to promoting local culture and the arts but also making use of such endeavor as a jump off point for creating a sense of pride of place where every Ilonggo shall be proud of his lineage.
It shall be a major player in tourism awareness programs in showcasing and promoting the City and her history so that there will be authentic and factual representations in telling her stories; and in documenting and capturing information for the industry.
It shall be an economic driver for the development of skills and generation of jobs.
It shall continually improve the quality of tourism products and services by addressing the needs of the markets.
It shall abide by the terms of reference set by the Festival's tripartite and comply with government regulations in the disbursement of public funds. It shall be a benchmark of the culture of excellence.
