• Gossip is rife in the workplace and people just love it - do you want to be gossip fodder for the entire office; the talk of the water cooler gang? It could lead to a really uncomfortable working environment leading you to look for another job and resenting your relationship too boot.

The Pros

• So many long term partners and married couples met at work, studies suggest it could be as high as 40%. Most of us know plenty of couples that have met at work, so you know that it can work out.

• The office is a great place to get to know someone - you see each other everyday and can form real bonds over the photocopier. There is nothing wrong with a office flirting as long as you are able to remain professional.
