Comment Spamming

Comment Spamming

We wanted to take a moment to explain one of the July Contest Rules further in depth.  Comment Spamming could lead to a user being disqualified from the contest.  Under the rules section it is stated that:

2 Any attempt to manipulate, interfere with, or otherwise alter any entries, other systems or services of RedGage will immediately disqualify all those implicated. Determination of qualification of entries and selection of winner is at the sole discretion of RedGage. An example of disqualifying behavior is comment spamming.

Comment Spamming is...

1)  Any comment that is unrelated to the piece of content or is not genuine.
2)  A single word.  All comments must be more than one word.
3)  Repeating the same comment or similar comments.

We appreciate all of the excitement for the contest, but users that comment spam will be disqualified from that particular contest.  The first time comment spamming is brought to the attention of the RedGage team, it will result in a warning.  Any users that continue to spam through comments will be disqualified after this warning.

While most people appreciate page views and comments, please keep in mind that commenting repeatedly on one user's content could lead to some frustrations for other users.

We encourage users to moderate their own content.  If you find that someone is comment spamming your pages, please flag the comment and a RedGage Moderator will look into the issue.

When a winner is chosen, their comments will be reviewed to determine if the winner qualifies or not.  If you have any questions or concerns feel free to contact us at Support@RedGage.com
