So with the holidays coming up, my house uses a lot of Cinnamon, I love the taste and the smell.  We use it in pies and some dishes during Thanksgiving and Christmas.  I have always heard that there are many health benefits to Cinnamon so, I thought that I would look up and do some research on it, who would think that something so good is actually good for you too. Cinnamon is used in so many things, we use it in pies, on toast, in sweet potatoes, coffee, oatmeal etc., now just a little sprinkle here and there is really not enough to give you the health benefits we all need, but there are cinnamon supplements we can take that will help in everything from lowering your cholesterol and even help with Diabetes.  The Chinese have used cinnamon for hundreds of years. They believe it increases a persons blood circulation and it also has a good impact on energy and vitality.  People have used cinnamon on their feet in the winter time to keep warm.  It is also one of the main ingredients in chai, and has been used as a relaxing after dinner drink to help with the digestion of dairy products and some fruits. Cinnamon is also good for different ailments such as colds, nausea, gas, menstruation pain, diabetes and indigestion. Cinnamon is also available as an oil as well, and can be very beneficial. It can be used as any essential oil; in a diffuser, mixed with a carrier oil for massage, or as a spray. The oil can be used for low blood pressure, stress, lice and constipation.  Adding cinnamon to your diet can be a sweet way to protect your health and help your body be at its best no matter what your age
