Helium is a good site if you are a more professional writer and don’t mind taking the time to rate articles after you write one. Each article has to be at least 400 words, which can be quite the challenge with some articles. The good side is that the topics are already there for you. All you have to do is find one you can write more than 400 words about. Also, if you are very professional and have a writing star it is possible to publish in Helium Marketplace where you might get recognized by a larger company, which could lead to an actual job in the future. But you have to really know about the subject they want you to write about and be a very professional writer to get noticed. Another good feature is writing contests. If you can beat the competition with your articles on a certain subject you could win up to $30. Other than that you earn for rating articles. But not long after writing for them I noticed it wasn’t really worth it because I’m not very professional and therefore could only really earn by rating other articles. I found the earnings to not be worth the time and energy it took to write a 400 word article. So I left my articles on there for the past year and a half and currently have $1.35 on my account. So pretty much unless you are very professional this most likely is not the option for you.
