What a Father ... 06/17/12
He didn't tell me how to live; he lived,and let me watch him do it.
: o ) Clarence -Budington Kelland That is what my father did for me. That is truly what all fathers do, they life and they allow us to watch them act and interact with life.Life has challenges and my father met them head on.He was a man who did not live on unemployment he just worked. He found a job, secured it and tried to be the best he could for that employer.Whether it was in the private sector or for the United States Army. He tried to be the best. A good lesson for a young boy who watched him go through life.Our father who art in heaven, hallowed be his name....God our creator and our savior show us through his word and actions through out history how we should live, how we should love, how we should interact with our work and our private lives.Plenty of scripture and teachings all in that book just ready to be read and learned.Plenty of clues and steps laid out we just have to read, watch, learn and act.Good stuff like John 12:26 If anyone serves me, he must follow me; and where I am, there will my servant be also. If anyone serves me, the Father will honor him.Romans 12:10-11(KJV) Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor. Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord. 1 John 3:1 See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him.Oh there is more of course that is just a few bits of wisdom our father in heaven has left us.So do I miss my father who watched over me on this earth, my dad, yeah you bet.... he left me some lessons and I know he still watches over me.Do I miss my heavenly father who created all of nature and everything that we share on this planet.No ...
