#Repost @michaelcapponi Just finished a solid one hour closed door meeting with Florida Governor Rick Scott and a few key Puerto Rico business leaders. Governor Scott is speaking with Puerto Rico Governor Ricardo Rossello’ a few times per day. This meeting was arranged to consolidate info going to Puerto Rico and FEMA. I’m actually very happy about his willingness to open channels for us, so we can set up better alliances between Government and Private Sector aid distribution. Governor Scott has agreed to have daily calls with us and the Puerto Rico Governor’s office to coordinate our relief efforts so we have no red tape or seized aid. Please don’ your political views on my page. We don’t care what your political party is at this point. There’s only one goal and that is to get aid to people in need immediately with or without the help of the government. We have some very large shipments going out this week and longer term plans must be implemented. It’s important to understand that the poorer parts of Puerto Rico will not have any ability to make money or support themselves in the months to come.
