Trick or Treat for Unicef?
When I was young there was a campaign/advertisement that came on television every year around or near the time to celebrate Halloween. It went like this: Children would knock on the door and when the neighbor opened their door, instead of asking for candy the kids would shout:
“Trick or Treat for UNICEF!”
The campaign began in 1950. Certainly made an imprint in my mind. The idea was to get people to donate to the cause of helping children all over the world. I liked the idea THEN and like it NOW. Sharing this precious gem found via the UNICEF Tumblr blog. No doubt there are all kinds of ways one can contribute to such a worthy cause.
