Virginia Beach is not a world class destination?
Could someone please explain to me why Virginia Beach could never be a World class destination?
If the City wants to build a new 361 room hotel adjacent to the convention center let them. The convention center is not serving much of a purpose as it is and if people want the luxury of walking out of the convention center into a hotel let them.
Even Dayton, OH has a hotel built into their convention center.
People would like to see Virginia Beach come a World class destination, but they do not want to pay for it.
Upgrade Virginia Beach so that it can become "World class" up there with other resort cities. Virginia Beach could be so much more. Why stand in the way of progress?
