Hooray no buffering or jumping for me. That does lead to grumpiness and inability to watch. Grandma goes off to check on Henry and now it looks like she might be in trouble herself. It is strange it took her so long to get to him. Cassie was able to throw a Halloween party and clean up before Grandma even got to Henry's place. Now she's knocked out and who I'm thinking could be John or maybe Charles took the crystal that Grandma grabbed to see if she could bring back Henry. I guess that doesn't work the same as it does in Mystic Falls since things went all wacky when Bonnie brought back Jeremy.
Whoa I guess Phoebe has practice holding things up with not much material after all she was a mermaid before she was a witch. Instead of being the sexy Witch Doctor she ends up dressing as Red Riding Hood. Hmm the Grim Reaper is popular this year since I'm seeing it all over TV land. At least she had a little fun before the evening went straight to hell but things could have been a lot worse.While decorating the house Cassie finds a piece of the blade that Simone used when she tried to kill her. She decides to go back to that shop where Calvin the witch was to see if he knew what the markings meant but Jake stopped her. Yeah he put his hand on her car and she couldn't start it. At least she's suspicious of him which is good after all he's on Team Witch Hunter. But Jake already threatened to kill Calvin with a spell so Calvin didn't tell her anything although Cassie did take some pictures of a knife in the shop.Later on Calvin goes to Ethan to talk about Cassie. He wants to warn her about her father who happens to be John Blackwell. Ethan thinks Cassie should remain clueless but Calvin doesn't agree. He ends up calling Cassie and puts an envelope in Cassie's mailbox which she does get after the narrow escape from death. Since Jake didn't want to be outed as a Witch Hunter he ends up killing Calvin who didn't mention Jake. Oh that's a horrible way to go.It turns out that Luke is a fellow Witch Hunter that has been spying on them from the start. He's proud of his family's long tradition of killing. Oh yes that's totally brag worthy so I have to admit that he kind of got what he deserved. He did mention them binding the circle which makes me wonder if they wouldn't be killed if the circle was never bound. That doesn't make sense because things were all wonky which is why they bound the circle in the first place after all Sally did or nearly died because of it.But it turns out that those with dark magic can't be killed the same way. These witch hunters like to kill in such a way that the magic isn't passed on. I guess dark magic works different although Mr Head Witch Hunter thinks all magic is black. Oh and he's Mr Wonderful going around killing people. Since the spell kills witches Jake was supposed to stay away but he did try to warn Mr Head Witch Hunter but he was too late since it looks like trying to kill Cassie led to Luke getting set on fire instead.I guess Adam really didn't think about what his dad did. He thinks he'll become like Ethan if he doesn't stay with Diana. I'm thinking Ethan was with someone that he didn't have strong feelings for because of that whole written in the stars thing he supposedly had with Amelia. Maybe Ethan is trying to spare him from going his route but Adam seems to see it exactly the opposite since he thinks being with Diana will do the opposite.
