The Youth of Today - My Wish for You
To the youth of today, I see that you have a long road ahead and your way will be bumpy. You haven’t had much of an example in the adults who were supposed to help shape your life. For that I can only say, I’m sorry. I hope that somewhere along the way you will be able to climb over the obstacles that have been placed directly in front of you.
During your journey it is my wish that you find someone that has wisdom to impart, to share with you the times of old. Someone who will show you the proper way to do things. A kind soul who will give you proper instruction on the way to treat others.
It takes time to know who you will eventually become, I hope for your sake that you do not make any life altering decisions before that realization hits. If by chance those life altering events have already taken place, it is my wish that someone will be available for you to lean on, to guide you through. Someone who will show you that all is not lost, just life’s plans making changes, and during this you will have to change your way of thinking.
It is my hope that you will find someone who will show you your self worth. To help you realize that you are wonderful under the guise with which you have hidden yourself.
Take the time to look in the mirror and see, that if you have flaws, they are flaws that can be lived with. Realize that everyone has flaws, some a just not visible to the naked eye. Forgive those flaws, if possible, and know that life goes on.
Wouldn’t life be boring if we were all the same inside and out? We would have everything in common with everyone. We would have no reason to grow and learn about the differences in others. It is my wish that along life’s path you surround yourself with those who will help you learn, grow and love.
I pray that you will find your roots, so that you can become deeply seated in who you are. Let your roots spread, so when you come into your own you can, Bloom where you are.
